Can You Play Phasmophobia on Xbox?

At the time of writing, Phasmophobia is not on Xbox. However, it’s due to arrive on consoles in October 2024, to celebrate the game’s annual Halloween update.

Phasmophobia was initially announced for Xbox way back in the summer of 2023, initially set to land that August. After over a year of delays, however, it looks like we’ve finally reached a stage where it’s ready to launch.

The good news was re-announced in a blog post shared on the game’s Steam page in July 2024. In this post, the devs confirmed that console versions of Phasmophobia would be ready for the Halloween update. These will cost more than the current version of the game on Steam right now. They announced a price hike across the board when these various versions arrive.

Once the console version releases, it’ll be entirely on par with the PC version in terms of updates and features. We don’t know the exact date yet, though. However, it’s bound to be at some point in October this year – meaning there really isn’t long left to wait! Even better, you can participate in matchmaking with friends on any console, including VR, so there’s no longer a limit to your ghost-hunting escapades.

This is everything you need to know to answer if Phasmophobia is on Xbox. If you’re looking for more Phasmophobia news and content, check out whether it’s on PS4 and PS5, and if the game is cross platform.
