2024 is set to be a big year for Dandadan. In addition to its upcoming anime, the manga is still going strong and should feature plenty of chapters to dig into in the coming months. To that end, we’ve compiled every known release date for the series’ chapters in this detailed guide.

When Do Dandadan Chapters Come out? Explained

Before going any further though, it’s worth noting that Dandadan has a different release structure compared to some of Shonen Jump’s other series.

Whereas the likes of One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen are published in the print edition of Shonen Jump and have Raws that can leak before their official English release date, Dandadan is only published online and is highly unlikely to be leaked ahead of time via Raws and fan translations.

As a result, it’s impossible to see the series ahead of its official release through the official Shonen Jump website and app on Mondays at 10 a.m. EST and 11 a.m. EST during daylight savings time.

On the plus side, this also means that it’s impossible to stumble upon spoilers before said release date. Likewise, it makes it that much easier to support the series through official means and ensure the author, Yukinobu Tatsu, gets the support they need to continue making the manga indefinitely.

Likewise, it’s worth noting that some of these dates are subject to change. While the series is fairly consistent and keeps to its weekly release schedule the majority of the time, it’s always possible that Yukinobu Tatsu might need a week or two off due to illness or other circumstances.

Is Dandadan on Hiatus? Answered

It should also be stated that Dandadan is currently on hiatus, but don’t be too alarmed.

As opposed to one on par with the likes of Hunter x Hunter, Dandadan’s current Hiatus is only scheduled to last for a month. This is so that Yukinobu Tatsu can conduct some research for the series, which makes sense when you consider that the most recent chapter offered some major story revelations and marked a turning point in the series as a whole.

This means the next chapter is due to release on Sept. 2 via the official Shonen Jump app and website, ending the hiatus rather quickly.

Dandadan Chapter 164 Release Date and Spoilers

This brings us to what might happen next when Dandadan Chapter 164 releases on Sept. 2.

Though spoilers are characteristically unavailable due to the series’ release style, we’re in for a major revelation when the next chapter drops. More specifically, it seems poised to dig into what Dandadan is and how it plays into the wider series’ wild themes and events, as Dandadan Chapter 163 ended with Count Saint Germain stealing the Fairy Tale Card’s powers and asking it whether or not it knew of Dandadan.

This would offer some much needed information on both what the series’ end goal is and what Count Saint Germain intends to do. The former has been a bit nebulous outside of Okarun and Momo’s drive to restore Okarun’s balls, while the later has emerged as one of the main problems the series’ protagonists will have to deal with before the dust settles.

Outside of that, there’s also the question of why Momo didn’t regain her size after escaping the Diorama. Chances are she remains cursed due to her eating the food in the separate world, but we won’t know for sure until someone can diagnose her stunted stature properly.

Time will tell though, and we’ll only find out what’s next when Dandadan Chapter 164 officially releases on Sept. 2.

Is Dandadan Ending in 2024? Answered

Finally, on the off chance that you heard that Dandadan is ending in 2024, we wanted to assure you that this isn’t the case.

Barring some tragedy that prevents Yukinobu Tatsu from continuing the series, we can confidently say that Dandadan isn’t even close to ending. The series has in no way set itself up for any sort of final arc, and there hasn’t been a hint of an incoming finale from Shonen Jump.

It would likewise be an odd time for the series to announce its conclusion due to the Dandadan anime‘s release being imminent. While it’s not unheard of for an anime to come out and continue after a manga series has ended, it would be very odd for a manga series to wrap up suddenly with mere months to go before its anime premieres.
