2024 is set to be one of the biggest years yet for the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, not least of which because it might be the series’ last year in active publication. As such, it’s imperative you know when new chapters are set to release, how to read them, and what they might contain.
Luckily, we’ve got all of the information you need to know down below, in our Jujutsu Kaisen 2024 chapter release date calendar.
Every Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter Release Date, Listed
If you’re newer to manga and its online release schedules, it’s worth noting when you can expect to read new chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen.
In general, there are three different days when parts of or the complete chapters will release. More specifically: Raw and untranslated portions of the manga typically hit the internet around 6 a.m. EST on the Thursday of a given week. Unofficial fan translations are made available through scan sites on Fridays around 8 a.m. EST, though they can release a little earlier depending on the complexity of the translation.
Finally, the official translation of a full chapter goes live on the official Shonen Jump website and app on Sundays at 10 a.m. EST and 11 a.m. EST during Daylight Savings Time.
It’s also worth noting that Akutami has been more prone to illness in recent months. As such, it’s not unheard of for chapters to release in parts — i.e., 262, 262.2, and so on and so forth. These chapter parts are typically on the shorter side, but this allows Akutami to put something out while he recovers without taking time off fully.
We’ve listed all of the known release dates for the series’ 2024 chapters in the table below. We’ll be updating this calendar as each chapter’s release date is confirmed, so be sure to check back regularly. Likewise, be aware that anything besides the official translation is considered illegal, so peruse them at your own peril.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 266 Spoilers and Release Date
With that settled, you can now dig into the Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 266 spoilers that are currently available prior to its Aug. 18 release date.
Though they hit a little later than expected this week, the JJK 266 spoilers via raws were well worth the wait. The ones that are verifiable via Reddit show Yuji successfully getting through to Megumi, and his former friend even throws off an attack from Sukuna by submerging his leg into shadows. It seems to come with a bittersweet undertone though, as it seems like Itadori may have to kill his friend in order to eliminate Sukuna for good.
At the same time, a new plot point has emerged: Yuji is missing two fingers, and one of Sukuna’s fingers is shown to be restrained and sealed in an unknown location.
This could mean one of two things. The first is that Yuta and Rika didn’t use Sukuna’s Fingers to gain the ability to use malevolent shrine, and that they instead fed off of Itadori’s fingers. Because he was possessed by Sukuna at one point, he may have had residual cursed energy from the King of Curses, and as such was able to give them the ability himself. This would leave Sukuna’s fingers in play, and could provide a means for the Jujutsu Sorcerers to seal off some of his power.
Alternatively, this could be shown to indicate Itadori managed to consume the final Sukuna finger. With it, he may have some sort of power-up that he can resort to in order to defeat Sukuna, though what it is and how he’d use it is unclear.
Our money is on the former, but this is all just speculation. We won’t know for sure what all this means for the series until the chapter releases in earnest via fan translations in the coming days.
Is Jujutsu Kaisen Ending in 2024? Explained
But then, there is the chance you’re more interested in finding out when the final chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen is slated to release, especially given rumors of it ending have once again sprouted up after comments made by its author Gege Akutami.
To cut right to the chase, the series is ending sometime in 2024, but we don’t know exactly when Jujutsu Kaisen will end yet. The story still has some important plot threads to wrap up currently, and there hasn’t been any official announcement made by Akutami or Shonen Jump about the series’ conclusion approaching.
Likewise, Jujutsu Kaisen continues to see new plot twists and comebacks via its main villain Sukuna. Just when it looks like he’s finally on the verge of defeat, he manages to turn the tides and survive his battles with the heroes. This has kept the series going much longer than most would have anticipated, resulting in its current prolonged final battle.
If we had to guess though, we’d say the final chapter will hit sometime around the end of the year. This would give ample time to tie up some loose ends in regards to the plot, while also ending the series before it stretches into yet another year of publication.
